Bug fix release mostly, but I did manage to sneak in one more feature
Download NotLaunch 0.24 to fix a couple of crashing bugs, and use the TAB key to clear the characters typed.
Changes From 0.24 to 0.23 (20030620)
* Fixed bug where icon could not be found, which crashed the app (Alex, this was the ‘f’ key)
* Fixed bug where a folder was added twice and corrupting the choice list (Alex, this was the ’s’ key)
* Added TAB key binding to clear the currently typed characters (Alex)
* In addition to not clearing the list when the picker is brought back up, do not clear the characters typed, so the user can see the last choice, as well as what made that choice (Scott)

Is right here. Apologies for the delay. Minor bugfix release, as noted below:
From 0.22 to 0.21 (20030612)
——————————————————————————-
* Fixed recent shortcut problem where selected shortcut appears multiple times
* Moves a recent shortcut to the top of the list when chosen again
* Botom border was moved up one pixel
(Update) Forgot to note that your notlaunch.dat file needs to be deleted (it is not compatible with .22). It will not be upgraded.

It’s here.
Changelog, as usual:
From 0.21 to 0.20 (20030609)
——————————————————————————-
* Updated icon to add transparency (Alex)
* Added ability to re-index a directory (Alex)
(click on reinded button or double click on the folder itself)
* Previous list is now kept when NotLaunch is re-activated (Alex)
(This should not interfere with Jason’s request to clear, since I believe
that Jason’s request was to clear the keys typed upon activation)
* Attempt at getting the focus by calling it twice (Jason)
* Changed from transparency based background to simple image background (Alex)
(Did not seem to work consistently on all machines)
* NotLaunch now remembers previously typed shortcuts and lists them first,
along with the most valid shortcut. (Alex)

For all of those 2 of you out there waiting for the alpha latest and greates, here it is: notLaunch 0.14.
Satisying Alex’s request to add directories (I even threw in delete for free), as well as regular expression matching, and a shiny new installer (will switch to NSIS at some point).
Requires the .NET Framework be installed. You can do that from here.

Well, it’s officially alive. Tonight I plugged in some of the directory indexing code as well as the ability to save settings, and below is a crappy screenshot of all of the files beginning with ‘cv’ in my c:\usr\bin directory:

Now, I have to figure out how to execute these things, then I can recruit Alex in the UI department to ’spruce it up’. Let’s see how fast he comments on this
